I have had the great honor and privilege to be apart of the Refugee Collective family that's producing possibilities for refugees in Austin, TX through food and fiber. Employing refugees and immigrants in fair-wage, dignified work through two social enterprises: a textile manufacturing Studio and an 20 acre USDA Organic Farm. The enterprises are built at the intersection of the traditional, respected skills of sewing and farming that refugees bring and a growing market for local food & textile production.

In my informative years attending art school, I worked at the Annapolis Canoe and Kayak every summer for a decade. The family-owned business in Maryland's Capital, Annapolis, MD is dedicated to fostering a welcoming community for paddlers of all ages and experience levels. With a knowledgeable and friendly team, they provide personalized guidance to help select the right equipment for your adventures touring the city or exploring the open waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Committed to building lasting relationships within the local community through it's open doors, promoting friendship and camaraderie among paddlers, and sharing our passion for the water.
